Promises
On the Promises pages you will find:
- A promise that has been identified as being made by the new President
- A promise that can be measured
- A promise that can reasonably be fulfilled within the 4 year term
- A couple other subjective qualifiers
Why not just put them all up? — Because there are several hundred, and if a promise can’t be measured or fulfilled, then it does no good to pledge for it. Also, there are a lot of “fluff” promises that are so easy to achieve, and whose benefits are hard to quantify, that we have chosen not to list them.
To begin with, we are limiting the number of promises to under 10, and as the site grows and the President offers new promises we can expand from there.
If you would like to submit a promise that was made, please see our FAQs page and refer to #5. All the information about submitting one to us is there. Please be sure the promise fulfills #1, 2, 3 above before submitting, along with all the instructions on the FAQs page.
