Want to Register?  simply click the little “Register” link under the Username / Password boxes and 2 different boxes will show up.  One for your Username (you cna create this), the other for your email.  Our software (WordPress) will send you a temporary password to that email address.  So as soon as you click Register and fill out the info, check your email for an email from WordPress@TheLeapForAmerica.org.  If you don’t see it, check your spam or junk folder.

You can then use that temporary password along with your Username to log in.

That’s it, you are now ready to pledge.

Of course our old way still works, so if you read the instructions for the old way, you can still follow those instructions and get registered / logged in.

Please let us know if there is something you are having an issue with and we can try and fix it.  Just leave us a comment.  Comments are great because they let us know you are actually visiting us, and interested, and you don’t even need to be registered or logged in to leave a comment.  Just type in a name and an email address and the comment.

A couple of suggestions we kept hearing:

Registering - yes, you need to be registered if you want to pledge.  You do not need to be registered to view the site, just to make a pledge.  This is really the most effect way to keep some goofball from “pledging” a million times and ruining it for everyone.

Instructions that you need to register - Ah, I may have placed this too far down in the page and should have put it at the top (notification that you needed to be registered before the dots would fill in).  Sorry,  I think I fixed it on all the pages now. 

Merchandise - yes, some more clarification there - just click on any of the pictures of the shirts or other merchandise and it will take you to the online store.  There are a ton more options for shirts and other items (buttons, hats, etc.) and you can see them all just by clicking on any of the shirts on the merchandise page.

So again, thank you for everyone who participated (and to those of you who purchased items already! ).  We hope to make this a big success and can not do it without you.

We have put up a Beta Test Promise for you all to try out.  We want to make sure that the Pledge Poll program is working before we go to launch.  I put some instructions on the Beta Test Promise Page, so it shouldn’t be too tough. 

Don’t worry, you shouldn’t be able to break anything that is what is nice about the software - you only get the permissions that the PledgeMaster allows.

Please head on over to that page (either click the link to it above, or go to Promises and choose the Beta Test Promise).  I have already clicked one logged in as the admin, so - so far so good.

There are comments activated on the Beta Test Promise page, so you can leave your experience comments there or on this post, either way we will find it.

NOTE:  This Beta Test Promise page will self-destruct before our launch so please test it out now!
