Hello, and welcome to The LEAP for America.  (Leadership to End the Apathy Project)

Hopefully you have already heard about us, but if you haven’t, here is a brief overview of our idea and why we exist.

The main concept of The LEAP for America is to create an online community of citizens who believe government should work with us and for us.  A community that says “enough is enough”,  we  do not want constant campaign rhetoric and empty promises.  We want real change, we want politicians to do what they promised they would do, and we want our elected officials to work for what is best for their constituents, not for what is best for themselves.

The LEAP for America is the platform from which we hope to get these changes started.  Our concept is simple.  We have listed several promises made by the incoming President, and have pledged to do community service for each of those promises he keeps.  This action is available to anyone who would also like to pledge community service hours for the promise of their choice.

This hopefully has two effects.  First, if the promises are kept, it will satisfy to some extent those citizens who voted for him based on those promises.  Second, the community service we perform will enhance our communities.

The more pledges of community service we receive and are fulfilled when the promise is met, the better off our communities will be.  This is a Win-Win for all involved.

You can only pledge one time to each of the promises, and you must be registered to do so.  This will keep our totals from getting askew.
